hey you, I can say this over and over and you still might not believe me, but I'm gonna say it anyway; you are loved.
even if you don't know it yet, you are loved. you are of value to someone, and I'm not talking about a boyfriend or a girlfriend or even your mom or dad. I'm not talking about that puppy down the street that you drop treats for every time you walk by. I'm talking about someone who knows you better than you know yourself and still loves you. (you know you mess up.. a lot.. I do too) yes, your mom and dad or even your significant other can still love you in your worst of times, but this is a somebody that has an eternal love for you; that means it will never ever ever fade away. you can't get rid of it even if you tried. but believe me, you don't want to get rid of it. it is the sweetest love you will ever find. sweeter than puppy kisses. sweeter than a bowl of cookie dough that you made all for yourself. sweeter than driving with your arm out the window. literally nothing will compare to the sweetness and the magnificence of this love.
this love is an undeserved, relentless, captivating love. this love knows no borders. this love is broader than the night sky. this love is God's love. your heavenly father sees you as enough. your creator sees no flaws in you. so why do we let the world tell us that we aren't enough? or that our bodies don't look quite good enough? well I'm turning that lie upside down and telling you that YOU ARE ENOUGH and that YOU ARE LOVED IMMENSELY. stop searching for acceptance. you have already been accepted by the God of the universe.
love is powerful. love is comforting. and love is enduring.
when you decide to stop searching for fulfillment and let go of your desire to be accepted by the world, God will turn your eyes to Him. He has big big plans for you and big big plans for this world. you're in for an adventure if you follow God's will instead of your own. He fills your soul to the brim. and when you feel the fulfillment that comes from the love God lavishes on you, through His son Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit will intervene in your life to help you share this love with others and bring you back to praise God. God's love is not of this world. nothing else will ever compare. so go out into the world, be vulnerable and love s'more.
